Each year, CNHED members gather and meet with DC Councilmembers to advocate for affordable housing and neighborhood economic development in the DC budget. This is a critical time for us to stand by our priorities just days before the Council votes on the Fiscal Year 2016 budget.
This year, we'll continue to encourage the Council to fund our priorities:
Sustain the $100 million commitment to the Housing Production Trust Fund
Maintain investments in Permanent Supportive Housing and Local Rent Supplement Program to meet the housing needs of homeless families and individuals
Invest in improvements to the Home Purchase Assistance Program
Support small business development and growth through the Small Business Technical Assistance Program and Great Streets
