The humanitarian people of of Arkansas gathered at the State Capitol in Little Rock, standing in solidarity with with the lives lost in New Zealand and the lives lost each day in Syria.
We hope other communities will stand together as we fear more atrocities in Idlib Province.
We had a powerful weekend standing in solidarity with victims of violence and hate. What began as a vigil for the safe return of American citizen Majd Kamalmaz, who is believed to be unlawfully imprisoned by the Assad regime in Syria, expanded into an important moment to recognize and remember the victims of the vicious terror attack in New Zealand. We cannot remain silent in the face of these horrors. We must rise up against violence and hate in all forms.
SETF team members and community in Little Rock, Arkansas gathered on March 15th in solidarity with the people of Syria and also New Zealand. Watch some of us speaking as we all made a circle and gathered together.
