Today is Safer Internet Day!
Cyber Safe Warwickshire are proud to support Safer Internet Day 2021This year they are celebrating with the theme ‘An internet we trust – exploring reliability in the online world’.

Safer Internet Day inspires a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically, and creatively. Today we are celebrating the amazing range of information and opportunities online, and its potential to inform, connect and inspire us, whilst also looking at how young people can separate fact from fiction.

Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, SID 2021 sees thousands of organisations get involved to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.

Check out Cyber Safe Warwickshire on Facebook and Twitter for updates on what information is available and how to celebrate Safer Internet Day! #AnInternetWeTrust
To support Safer Internet Day, Compass has also supplied materials to put together a virtual lesson or homework task about staying safe online. There is some useful information about screen time to encourage families to develop healthier habits.
