Free Public Programs at Fort Buford and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center
WILLISTON, ND – The public is invited to these free upcoming events at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center and Fort Buford State Historic Site.

Scrapbooking at the Confluence, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sept. 5, 2016
Flag Lowering Ceremony marking the end of the summer season, 3 p.m. at Fort Buford State Historic Site.
Sept.15, 2016
Fort Buford History Book Club, 7 p.m. Join history buffs in a discussion of this month's selected book. Free refreshments. Please call in advance, 701.572.9034.
Sept. 16-17, 2016
Confluence Quilters, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Join the Confluence Quilters for their monthly meeting at the Confluence. All experience levels invited and instruction provided. Bring your own lunch and unfinished projects.

Concert at the Confluence, 3 p.m. The public is invited to a concert featuring Open Range at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.
The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is a state historic site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. It is located 22 miles southwest of Williston at Fort Buford State Historic Site. Fort Buford State Historic Site summer hours through Sept. 5 are daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time with the fort being closed for the season after Sept. 5. The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is currently open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Beginning Sept. 6, fall and winter hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday 1-5 p.m.
