New Webpage for WWI Memorials is Live
BISMARCK, N.D. – Information about North Dakota monuments and memorials dedicated to World War I veterans can be found on a new web page created by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Thirty-six surviving memorials in 31 communities have been identified and researched through a collaborative effort of the Society and Susan Wefald of Bismarck. The web page is one of numerous ways the Society will be helping to commemorate North Dakota’s role in World War I. Find the memorial information at
http://history.nd.gov/hp/WWImemorials.html.
