Wet ‘n Wild Children’s Program at the ND Heritage Center
BISMARCK – Children visiting the ND Heritage Center & State Museum on July 13 will have the opportunity to meet a dolphin trainer from SeaWorld® San Diego, chat with a paleontologist, and learn more about the water creatures living at the Dakota Zoo. “Wet ‘n Wild”, a free program featuring children’s activities about water creatures will be presented on July 13, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Program participants will fish for prehistoric creatures, learn dolphin training gestures, watch a film of a sea otter playing, and much more.
Leading the children in this wet ‘n wild adventure will be SeaWorld® San Diego Dolphin Trainer Amber Reed, ND Geological Survey Paleontologist Becky Barnes, and the Dakota Zoo’s Education Coordinator Colleen McLaughlin.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
