Jessie Veeder To Perform Free Public Concert Aug. 5 at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum

BISMARCK, ND — Watford City based singer/songwriter and Nashville recording artist Jessie Veeder will be performing in concert Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. at the North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck. The free and family friendly concert will be held in the outdoor Prairie Amphitheater. Seating is not provided, and those attending are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Veeder will be signing albums after the concert and merchandise will be available for purchase.

Veeder has been a symbol of folk music in the badlands of western North Dakota since she released her first original album when she was only sixteen years old. Her fourth original studio album, “Northern Lights,” was released in 2015. Veeder was voted North Dakota's "Favorite Folk Artist" at the 2016 North Dakota Music Awards. She also works as a weekly columnist for statewide newspapers and maintains the popular blog “Meanwhile, back at the ranch…” chronicling life in western North Dakota.
