Kazoo Kids at Former Governors’ Mansion
BISMARCK—The State Historical Society of North Dakota is hosting the free event “Kazoo Kids” on Thursday, July 30, at 1 p.m. at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site. Kazoos will be offered to children free of charge. Participants will be invited to hum along to favorite contemporary songs led by Bismarck children’s performer Kittyko. Free lemonade will be available, as well as an opportunity for children to “perform” on stage. The event will take place on the west lawn, but will be moved inside the Former Governors’ Mansion in the event of inclement weather.
The Former Governors’ Mansion is located at 320 East Ave. B in Bismarck. For more information, contact Kristin or Johnathan at shsfgm@nd.gov or call 328-9528. For information about additional upcoming events of the State Historical Society of North Dakota, visit history.nd.gov.
