Norway Orchestra to Perform at North Dakota Heritage Center
The Trønder Boys Old-Time Orchestra will perform a free public concert at the North Dakota Heritage Center auditorium on Sunday, June 28 at 2 p.m. Organized by three members who have performed toe-tapping music for more than 40 years, the group often performs on Norwegian television and radio.
The Trønder Boys Old-Time Orchestra is performing nine concerts in the midwest as part of a cultural exchange between Norway and the United States. This concert is sponsored by the State Historical Society of North Dakota in partnership with the Sverdrup Sons of Norway Lodge of Bismarck.
This concert is one of many programs in the 2015 lineup of Sensational Sundays, free public programs sponsored by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Programming includes lectures, concerts, movies, and tours provide engaging, educational, historic, and cultural information.
