Communities Invited to Participate in Statewide National Historic Preservation Act Celebration
BISMARCK – To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act, the State Historical Society of North Dakota is inviting communities statewide to celebrate their local history and cultural resources from June 17 to 19. About 30 organizations have agreed to participate by hosting special programs, presentations, or tours highlighting history in their communities. Information about these public celebrations can be found at history.nd.gov/50thNHPA. This webpage will be updated weekly as new organizations are added.
