Upcoming Programs at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center


WILLISTON, ND – The public is invited to these free upcoming events at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center at Fort Buford State Historic Site.
 
March 4
Scrapbooking at the Confluence, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Participants should bring their own materials and lunch.

March 11
Historic Sewing Club, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The Historic Sewing Club is a group initiated by Fort Union to do historic period sewing. A presentation with instructions and information will be from 10 a.m.-noon and sewing will ensue from 1-3:30 p.m. Participants should bring their own materials and lunch.

March 16
Fort Buford History Book Club, 7 p.m. Join history buffs in a discussion of this month's selected book, “Many Tender Ties," by Sylvia Van Kirk. Free refreshments. Please call in advance, 701.572.9034. 

March 17-18
Confluence Quilters, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Join the Confluence Quilters for their monthly meeting at the Confluence. All experience levels invited and instruction provided. Bring your own lunch and unfinished projects.

March 19
Concert at the Confluence, 3 p.m. The public is invited to a free concert featuring the Lisenbee Family.   
   
March 25
Historic Sewing Club, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is part of Fort Buford State Historic Site managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. It is located 22 miles southwest of Williston at Fort Buford State Historic Site. The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is open Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Fort Buford is closed for the season.
