State Historical Society Offers Workshop for Museum Professionals
 

BISMARCK — The State Historical Society of North Dakota is offering a free informational workshop at the North Dakota Heritage Center on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for museum professionals within the state. The Museum Division’s registration and curatorial staff will take participants through the steps of how to handle a museum donation, from creation of a collections policy through cataloging the collection.  Participants will receive hands-on experience while working with various artifacts and will receive sample forms to adapt to individual museums. 

Lunch is not included, and registration is required.
