Fort Buford and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center to Begin Winter Hours and Host Public Programs
FORT BUFORD— On Sept. 8 the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center begins winter hours and will be open Wednesdays through Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays, 1 to 5 p.m. Central Time and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Fort Buford State Historic Site closes for the season on Sept. 7. The public is invited to these free upcoming events.
September 10
Fort Buford History Book Club, 7 p.m. CDT. A discussion of “Red Cloud” by Robert W. Larson. Free refreshments. Please call in advance.
September 18-19
Confluence Quilters, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT. Monthly meeting at the Confluence. All experience levels invited and instruction provided. Bring your own lunch and unfinished projects.
September 20
Concert at the Confluence, 3 p.m. CDT. The public is invited to a free concert featuring “Gettin’ Outta of Dodge” at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.
The Missouri Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is 22 miles southwest of Williston near the Fort Buford State Historic Site.
