Welcome to July's newsletter from the JMI.

This month brings with it alt klezmer punk folk from Canada's finest Geoff Berner at Jamboree and a week of celebrations in honour of violin legend Ida Haendel, including a not-to-be-missed masterclass at the Royal College of Music.  I'm very pleased to report that JMI is also supporting the MRJ Music Conference at the Sternberg Centre and the finals of the Bloch and Israeli Music competitions.
For all this and more, check out this month's podcast which also includes interviews with Helen Beer in advance of next month's Ot Azoy course and my old bandmates from Oi Va Voi in the run up to their gig this month at Hackney Roundchapel.
Enjoy the sun while it lasts and don't forget Klezmer in the Park on September 1st...
