Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

January 9th is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day!

The City of Fountain Inn is proud to have the best team of officers serving our city. Here are just a few examples of how they went above and beyond last year for our community.

Senior Watch
The City of Fountain Inn’s Senior Watch program was designed to aid senior citizens as they age in place. Many of the participants are homebound and do not have family in the area. Sixty seniors receive weekly calls from an officer to check in, safety checks during inclement weather, and regular lunches.
Trick or Treating
For years the Fountain Inn Police Department has closed roads to keep the community safe, but our team also uses the opportunity to build community relationships. Officers with of candy walked neighborhoods to encourage safe driving and meet local children.
Senior Thanksgiving
The City of Fountain Inn’s Senior Watch program cooked and delivered hot Thanksgiving dinner to sixty seniors in our community this year!
Toy Drives
Our police officers helped over twenty families make Christmas special this year with extra toys. They participated in both their annual Fountain Inn Police Department Toy Drive as well as the LEO Santa Toy giveaway!

Recycling Updates

To make recycling easier for our residents, recycling will be collected the same day as solid waste every other week. This means you only have to roll your carts to the curb one day a week!

For questions about recycling reach out to Fountain Inn Public Works at (864) 409-3310.
