Local Elections

The City of Fountain Inn is governed by a 7-member City Council, including the Mayor, who is elected at large.

City Council serves for four-year terms, which are staggered so that, every two years, council members are up for election. We are excited to welcome three new council members,

The new council members took office on December 1st.

The South Carolina Main Street Program has officially accepted Fountain Inn at the aspiring level!

Main Street is a nationally recognized program designed to help our local businesses thrive, preserve our historic charm, and provide a way for our community members to be engaged in redevelopment downtown.

Holiday Updates

Holiday Waste Collection

Solid waste crews will run on a regular schedule through December.
Live Christmas Trees can be left curbside for recycling.
Starting January 1st, recycling will be picked up on the same day as your trash.
