The CRCA general meeting for Thursday, January 3rd is postponed.
The next general meeting of the Central Roxborough Civic Association will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 10th, at Leverington Church, 6301 Ridge Avenue.
The agenda for the meeting will be as follows:
Three applicants for zoning relief will be present at the meeting on the 10th. These variance requests are for the following properties:
626-28 Leverington Avenue
4579 Mitchell Street
508-10 Green Lane
A multi-family development of fourteen (14) dwelling units is proposed for the property at 626-28 Leverington Avenue. To facilitate this proposed development, the existing detached single-family house will be demolished. Variances from RSA-2 zoning requirements for single-family use, minimum open area and rear yard depth are sought, in addition to variances from the requirements of the Central Roxborough NCO that mandate front porches and habitable rooms at the front of the first floor. In all, three (3) zoning refusals and three (3) use refusals are generated by this proposal. Please join us to discuss this potential redevelopment.
A representative of the Department of Revenue will discuss the Real Estate Tax Assistance Program
and answer questions about tax assessments, homestead exemptions and other topics.
