Fishers of Men Mini-Conference
Jesus said, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19). Join other disciples of Jesus as we take a hard look into the heartbeat of our community in need of the gospel. Starting Saturday at 7:00 and again Sunday morning at 10:30, Mike Courtney will be preaching God's burden to develop us as tellers of the gospel. It will be a life-transforming weekend equipping you to reach your friends with the gospel that Jesus saves.
Benevolence Offering
We give our next benevolent offerings on April 23 to reach others with the gospel. There is a great need with our missionaries to supply physical needs to open doors so they can share spiritual needs. Monthly we collect a special offering from our members to help with physical needs in Alvin and around the world. Be a part of someone else's story of salvation!
Staff Evangelism
Join Your Staff - Share the Gospel
Your staff visits homes in the Alvin area to share the gospel every other Saturday. Join us this Saturday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. No experience necessary. Meet at the church.

Join us in our excitement to introduce to you Jerry McCurdy, our candidate for interim Associate Minister of Music. Jerry and his wife, Melody, will join us Sunday, April 30 in our 10:30 a.m. worship. Bring enough food for your family and a few more when after church we will enjoy a meal together in the fellowship hall where our church can get to know the McCurdys and vote to bring him on staff for a 90-day interim period as Associate Minister of Music.

Christian Crossroads - A Sermon Series in Philippians
Christian Crossroads - A Sermon Series in Philippians
Join us Sunday mornings as we walk through the book of Philippians as part of our emphasis on expository text-driven preaching. Have you ever had to make a decision? Of course you have. Learn how to make those difficult decisions without having to live in regret in our 10:30 a.m. service.
Membership Orientation
For New [And Existing] Members
This new member orientation will be special as we walk our high school seniors through the meaning of regenerate and covenant membership. Come along if you're thinking about joining Bayou Drive. Or if you're a member and want a refresher, you're welcome to join our seniors as well.
NEXTgen Strategic Planning
Trying to be good stewards of the gospel, our church is praying about a future location strategic to some of the changes coming to Alvin. Whether we improve our facility, purchase land, or re-purpose another building in the Alvin area, we want to be visible to our community. Our Trustees have met with a church consulting firm to consider our options and will be sharing our findings with the church in the next couple of months. Please pray as we consider leaving a healthy church for our next generation.
Wednesday Proverbs Study
Wednesday Proverbs Challenge
Our Wednesday night adult Bible study group is taking the Proverbs challenge, an attempt to see weekly events through the lens of Proverbs. Join us, and learn to see life through your relationship with the wise God of the ages.
