It's that time of year again to recognise and celebrate our achievements as dietitians!
The 2023 Dietitians Australia award nominations are now open. Nominate a fellow colleague or yourself for an award, prize, grant or scholarship. You might know someone that has demonstrated influence, is active in the community or has made outstanding contributions to the profession, and we want to hear about it!
Submitting an application is easy online. Apply by 5pm (AEDT) Monday 16 January 2023.

Life Membership
Who can apply? An APD who has been a member of Dietitians Australia for most of their professional life and has given outstanding service to the profession.

Outstanding Contribution Award
Who can apply? An APD who has made a major and sustained contribution to the profession in the past 3 years at the National level.

|
Young Achiever Award
Who can apply? This award recognises excellence of practice or leadership amongst junior members of the profession. Applicants must be a member of Dietitians Australia for at least 5 years and less than 10 years from graduation.

Award of Merit (Branch & National)
Who can apply? This award recognises individual or group of members who have contributed to Dietitians Australia and/or the profession worthy of particular recognition within the past 3 years.

Barbara Chester Memorial Award (QLD only)
Who can apply? An individual who has given outstanding contribution to the profession of dietetics in Queensland.

President's Award for Innovation
Who can apply? The award is to recognise innovation in any of its forms. The award is for innovation of an object, an action or an idea.

Chester Goodsell Memorial Award
Who can apply? An individual who has made outstanding contribution to the use of technology in the field of evidence-based nutrition analysis for health and wellbeing.

Quality in Primary Care
Who can apply? Are you a dietitian working in a medium-large or small business providing high quality dietetic services? Then apply for the Quality in Primary Care award to receive a prize valued up to $2000.

The Joan Woodhill Prize for Excellence in Research
Who can apply? A $500 prize will be awarded to a recently graduated NSW Doctorate dietitian for their outstanding achievement.

LEAP Travel Grant
Who can apply? If you are planning to present your nutrition research at an international conference during 2023, the LEAP Travel Grant can assist. This grant supports novice research members to present their work in nutrition.

Health Care Professional Program Travel Grant
Who can apply? Are you an APD presenting your nutrition research to Australian doctors, nurses, pharmacists or allied health professionals at a conference in 2023? Then apply for a grant to help get you there.

Fay McDonald Scholarship
Who can apply? This scholarship will support a member in pursuing further study and training in food service management.
