It's time! Conference abstract submissions close tonight. Submit your research abstract or proposal for Melbourne's #DA2023, our 40th Conference! We embrace all forms of knowledge and welcome submissions from all areas of practice. Visit the conference website to learn more and enter your research!

2 weeks left to renew!

Don't let your APD status and membershp with us expire. Click the green button on your member portal profile to renew for 2023 and make your APD Declaration in a matter of minutes. Or, visit Renew 2023 to learn everything you need to know. 1 February is the last day.

Three awards still open, 1 day left to apply

Applications for three Dietitians Australia awards were extended to encourage more submissions - Branch Award of Merit, Chester Goodsell Memorial Award and Fay McDonald Scholarship. If you haven't already, get your submission in before tomorrow, 5pm (AEDT) Tuesday 24 January.

Have you done your 2023 APD Declaration?

If you have renewed and your APD Certificate is missing from your member portal profile, it's time to complete a 2023 APD Declaration. Click the '2023 APD Declaration Missing' alert up the top of the page and continue. If you're unsure about your 2023 declaration, it's time to double check - this keeps your APD active!

Research Summary: Food waste management in hospitals

Although good for the environment, avoiding food waste is difficult in hospitals. A systematic review of published and grey literature was completed to locate examples of hospital foodservices who divert food and food-related waste from landfill. Advocacy and policy

NDIS advocacy priorities

If you could change 3 things to make the NDIS work better for you and your clients with disability, what would they be? We will host an online meeting at 1pm (AEDT) 8 February, to review our key NDIS advocacy priorities, to inform a submission to the NDIS Review and future advocacy activities. Contact Sayne if you would like to attend.
