Award submission extended to 5pm (AEDT), Tuesday 24 January 2023.

We have extended the submission deadline for three Dietitians Australia awards for 1 week.

We would like to recognise more members doing exciting work in the areas of food service, technology and their overall contribution to Dietitians Australia or the profession. 

Check out below the following awards extended: 
Award of Merit (Branch)

Do you know someone that has contributed to the profession and/or Dietitians Australia within the past three years at a state Branch level? Maybe they engage in training, or are they recognised as an expert resource and advocate?

Chances are you do! Nominate them to receive an Award of Merit in your local Branch.

Chester Goodsell Memorial Award

This award sponsored by Xyris Pty Ltd, honours the late Chester Goodsell who was the creator of FoodWorks. 

Nominate a member who has made outstanding contributions to the use of technology in one of the following areas: empowerment of individuals health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, client-centred care or public welfare.

Prize: Subscription to FoodWorks for 12 months

Fay McDonald Academic Scholarship

This scholarship supports a member to pursue further study and training in food service management.

If you're an APD with atleast 3 years' experience working as a dietitian and interested in further studies in food service, this scholarship might be for you! 

Value: maximum of 3 years to a total value of up to $20,000.
