2021 North American Invasive Species Forum

The North American Invasive Species Forum is an international event encompassing the interests of professionals and organizations involved in invasive species management, research and regulation across North America.

The Forum will bring together the international invasive species community and will highlight new research, emerging issues, success stories and prevention and response initiatives from across Canada, Mexico and the U.S.

Food Systems Summit 2021


In 2021, UN Secretary-General António Guterres will convene a Food Systems Summit as part of the Decade of Action to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Summit will launch bold new actions to make progress on all 17 SDGs, each of which relies on healthier, more sustainable and equitable food systems.

The Summit will awaken the world to the fact that we all must work together to transform the way the world produces, consumes and thinks about food. It is a summit for everyone everywhere – a people’s summit.

Building a Zero-Plastic-Waste Strategy for Agriculture

Ag plastics are important tools that help farmers store feed for their livestock, bring crop inputs to their farm and control moisture.

This three-year, government-funded project will increase farmer access to recycling programs and explore ways to deliver long-term, permanent programs. These programs will help Canadian farmers continue to improve the sustainability of their operations
