Get to know our professors:

Visit at a local public school
 Linda Tunick, Arizona
(August 2013)

ILISA is Costa Rica has been a wonderful experience for me. The small classes with individual attention, the family experience, and the many trips to beautiful sites in the country immersed me completely in the culture of Costa Rica. Being a retired teacher of elementary students in the United States, education of course, was of interest to me.  The school arranged a visit to a local public school and I was able to share with the students my photos of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, the mountains, the spring flowers, and the grand Saguaro Cactus.
Costa Rica will now always be a part of me and I have left a little of Arizona in Costa Rica.
