Winter Program of 2013-2014

Our Winter Program of 2013 turned out to be a huge success. We had individuals, as well as students from Butler University follow the program in Costa Rica, while students from Carroll Community College stayed in Panama. During the two  and three week program, students stayed with a hostfamily, providing them with an up-close and personal sight into the culture of the locals and it also helped a lot with practicing their Spanish. The Winter Program offers students with any level of Spanish, classes of four hours a day. Activities were organized between and after classes, which made the experience eventful and interactive. Students had the opportunity to visit museums, go bowling, take dance classes and also take a trip to another city for two days.

Thank you for coming, it was nice having you here!

A group of students from ILISA went to the 'Museo de los niños' in San Jose. This museum is big and interactive and that is why it is popular amoung students. It offers a lot of information about the history of Costa Rica and, for example on how the people used to live many many years ago. Have a day off? Want to have a fun and educative day? Go and visit this museum!
