We are thankful!

We are back in the US, in Southern California, and are excited for the opportunities we've had already to connect with people at churches and with family and ministry partners again!

We are so thankful for each of you who we know pray for us and for those of you who are able to partner financially with us as well. We've said it so many times, but we are only able to fulfill God's calling on our lives to serve in Papua New Guinea because of each of you here, holding us up through prayer and financial partnership.
We enjoyed sharing at South Valley Community Church last month, where Andrew's brother, Scott, is the lead pastor. Even the kids were involved and performed a skit!

Praise God for answered prayer!

  • That Eden's fingers that were injured and required surgery during out travels from PNG to the US, have been virtually pain-free, have full function, and are even regrowing the fingernails that were lost!
  • For a beautifully renovated, 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house on a cul-de-sac (and even a trampoline in the backyard) to call home while we're here!
  • For a van to use at an amazing rental price and a truck loaned for free during our time here!
  • For opportunities to reconnect with ministry partners already in the 6 weeks we've been back!
  • For a new financial partner in our ministry already!
  • For family close by in California. Even Melody's parents, Ken and Joy Swift, who are with Wycliffe Bible Translators, are close by as well, having moved back recently from Peru to the US!
Please continue to pray!
  • For complete healing and restoration of Eden's fingernails.
  • For strength, wisdom, and patience for us and for Hannah (6th grade), Luke (3rd grade), and Eden (1st grade) as we home-school for the first time while we are here.
  • For continued opportunities and divine appointments to share about the people in PNG and around the world who are still waiting for God's Word in the language that speaks best to their hearts.
  • For people to be moved to serve overseas as translators and in support roles.
  • For God's provision to meet our ministry budget so we can return to fill our roles again in PNG in 8 months.
  • For the timing and finances needed to take care of orthodontic needs for our kids in the short months while we are here.
  • For times of rest and restoration among all the other things that need to happen while we are here.
Thank you for praying!! We are so thankful for a gracious God who hears and answers prayer!
