John Lazo

A devout fan of the theatre and of HMS TV, John Lazo searched for programming about the local theatre scene. Soon he'd decide to create and host his very own theatre show. 

"Houston Theatre Beat, to the best of my knowledge, is the only show in Houston that focuses specifically on theatre. Shows about the arts in general exist, but this show gives a voice exlusively to those in theatre," John says. "I'm quite proud considering that Houston leads the country in theatre seating and is only second to New York as the largest theatre city in the U.S."
