AOOS partnered with the International Arctic Research Center at UAF, our community advisory board, scientists & community members to bring you recent updates on research and observations in the region in the Bering Science Winter 2020/2021: Communicating science in and around the Bering Sea.
We're thankful for all the contributions from community members and scientists and for the support from our community advisory board: Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska, Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association, Alaska Native Knowledge Network, Association of Village Council Presidents, Aleut Community of St. Paul Island Ecosystem Conservation Office, and the Bering Sea Elders Group.

The mission of AOOS is to address regional and national needs for ocean information, gather specific data on key coastal and ocean variables, and ensure timely and sustained dissemination and availability of these data.
