Join the conversation April 1-2 in Anchorage. This workshop is part of an AOOS–Alaska Sea Grant initiative to develop guidance in (1) supporting community participation in data collection and observing networks, and (2) using high-quality scientific data in resource management and policy.
The STAMP project (Spatial Tools for Arctic Mapping & Planning) is hosting a 1-day stakeholder meeting in Anchorage on April 16. The mission of STAMP is to create a data tool to help managers, planners, and researchers effectively access and use data for decision making in the northern Bering and Chukchi region.
The workshop will introduce the tool and ways it can be applied in Alaska, provide case studies where decision support tools have been successful outside Alaska, and determine a path forward for advancing decision support tools and analysis in Alaska. Travel funding is available. Please RSVP by March 14 to email@example.com.
