Hi, it's Trish :)
I have an invitation and two updates for you this week:
  1. Please join me on Clubhouse this Thursday I'll be talking with Joe Pulizzi, Founder of The Tilt and the Godfather of Content Marketing, about my journey as a content entrepreneur. Joe is launching the updated and expanded second edition of his book, Content Inc., and I'm honored to be profiled in the book. The conversation is on Thursday May 27th at 2:00 EST, and here's the link to join us—I hope to "see" you there: https://www.joinclubhouse.com/event/PQ2DeXQB

  2. A lot is happening at the Foldfactory Blog I'm working on a new series called the Featured Format Spotlight, where every Friday I'm choosing one format and sharing multiple examples of great ways to use it, plus creative ways to modify it. Each post features NEW "magic hands" videos of real-world samples from the Foldfactory archive—many of which have not been featured on Fold of the Week. There are 8 posts so far, covering the Stepped Accordion, the Wrapped Stepped Accordion, the Tulip Fold, the Double Swinger, the Small T-Cross, the Locked Gate, the Circular Accordion, and the Twist Fold.

Also new at the blog, I have two comprehensive posts with great tips, tools, and information about how to acquire and maintain your direct mail marketing lists. There are FREE downloadable resources, too, courtesy of AccuZIP.

  3. The FOW searchable database is a slow-go There are about 70 searchable episodes of Fold of the Week over at Foldfactory right now (sad trombone). Considering there are 554 episodes of the show to pull into the database, I'm unhappy with that number, but it's just where I am. To make the super-useful faceted search functionality, each video has over 40 points of data associated with it, so going through each video and adding it to the database is a time consuming task. It's a slow-go, but I'm working on it for you! I just felt like I owed you an update on that project.

OK, that's it for now. I'll be back on Thursday morning with Fold of the Week, and maybe I'll catch you on Clubhouse in the afternoon. In the meantime, I welcome your questions, comments and content suggestions—so please feel free to send me a note. I'd love to hear from you.
Best regards,
Trish Witkowski / Chief Folding Fanatic / Foldfactory.com
