This week’s big idea is all about the cover of a saddle-stitched brochure.

And it’s proof that the cover can provide much more than just protection and aesthetics.

What’s super-cool about #573:

  • I love how they made the front cover a pocket, rather than tucking a powerful tool into the back cover.

  • The creative cover treatment provokes interaction with the wheel insert, taking the dry subject of financial planning and making it engaging and totally relevant to the recipient.

Moving a pocket from the back to the front of the brochure is a fresh concept that I hope you’ll think about the next time you’re designing a saddle-stitched brochure.
