Today, I’ve got an award-winning fundraising package to share with you, and I think you’ll find their approach really inspiring.
Here’s what’s great about this week’s big idea:
-
An earthy, tactile feel with kraft paper, original woodcut illustrations from a local artist, and a limited color palette really communicates the concept and connects with the audience.
-
The simple addition of a pocket on this classic Closed Gate Fold format turns it into a highly functional fundraising package, and a format that could be used for loyalty packages, direct mail, higher-ed, financial, and real estate verticals.
This piece made such an impression, it received a Best in Show and a Gold Award from the Ad Club of Western Massachusetts. Watch the episode, and you won't wonder why.
On a personal note, I was humbled by all of the thoughtful emails I received last week after announcing that I needed a week off from the show. Thanks so much for understanding :)
