Hi Stephen,

The long-awaited sunshine has made everyone feel brighter and here at the Trust, we’ve got even more to celebrate. This month we launch our new brand, setting out how our former industrial waterways can improve the wellbeing of millions of people.

Our research findings show that spending time by our waterways, whether it be your lunch break, daily commute or just a weekend stroll, really does make us feel happier and healthier. That’s evidence for something that we’ve all felt for a long time, life is definitely better by water!

From her art gallery Janice can see where her Grandfather once worked as a docker. She loves the family connection, and watching her pupils get inspiration from the water.
