Dublin Cycling Campaign AGM and 20th birthday mini-party - 7.30pm Monday 8th July 
Dear Dublin Cycling Campaign members and fans,
 
On Saturday 21st September, we will have our 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and we would love to see you there!
 
Our AGM is our largest and most important meeting each year. We reflect on the previous year’s campaigning activities and plan ahead for the next year. Crucially, we will elect a new team of volunteers to lead the organisation and give them a mandate to make the big decisions on behalf of the Campaign - and generally to lead the way in advocating to make Dublin a more inclusive place for everyday cycling.
 
The AGM will take place in The Tailors’ Hall, Back Lane, with tea/coffee/cakes from 1pm and business commencing at 1.30pm.
 
To help us plan with catering and the printing of docs etc., please let us know if you are coming by emailing damien.otuama@antaisce.org (with DCC AGM 2019 RSVP in the subject line) by 2pm on Thursday 19th Sept. Thank you!
 
Please note that to attend the AGM (and put oneself forward for any of our Committee positions) you need to be a paid-up member of Dublin Cycling Campaign. If you are currently not a member, you can join up here.

We will have a break mid-afternoon and will finish by 6pm. We usually pop around for a beverage in a nearby pub after the AGM, possibly followed for food for anyone interested.
 
Positions and Motions
At the AGM, we will be electing officers for the positions of Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer; and electing Coordinators for the domains of Communications, Membership, Fundraising, Events and Volunteering.

We would love to have new faces on board, so do please consider putting yourself forward to help out with the Campaign over the coming year. Please email us (info@dublincycling.ie) by Saturday 14th September indicating which of the positions you are interested in being a candidate for and why.
 
Equally, if you have any motions you want to propose for the AGM, please email them to us (info@dublincycling.ie) by Saturday 14th September.
 
Survey

If you haven't complete our survey yet, please do so here. The survey covers a wide range of topics such as cycling in Dublin, member engagement, satisfaction, funding, diversity & inclusion, and how to get more involved with the cycling campaign. It shouldn't take any longer than five minutes to complete the survey, and your responses will be invaluable to us. Everyone who responds to the survey will be entered into a draw to win a set of rechargeable bike lights!.

Finally
 
If you can attend just one meeting in 2019, make it our AGM! It will be sociable event with tasty nibbles in a beautiful historic building in the heart of the old city. We look forward to seeing you there.
