Dear <<First Name>>,

We hope this newsletter finds you full of summer vibes and energy! We are keeping this edition short and sweet, while we still take a breath after the Velo-city Conference work (and play!).

There will be No Public Meeting in August. The DCC Executive Committee members have had a fairly hectic few months and need a break!

We'll be back in September with two important events, our Public Meeting, in which we'll reflect and share stories and lessons from Velo-city Dublin 2019. Also, on September 21st, we'll have our Annual General Meeting, which will take place in Tailor's Hall. Stay tuned for details to come on the AGM, save the date and...

Happy Cycling!
Dublin Cycling Campaign

Saturday 21st September DCC AGM 2019
Save The Date!

Our biggest meeting of the year is our Annual General Meeting and this year it will take place on Saturday (daytime) 21st of September in the Tailors' Hall, Back Lane (near Christ Church Cathedral). For the AGM we will be seeking candidates for the positions of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer - and for wider roles on the Executive Committee, so do please consider putting yourself forward. The impact Dublin Cycling Campaign makes is largely shaped by who is driving the organisation and, for 2019 to 2020, we are particularly keen that we have a diverse and talented group with new faces on board. Over the coming weeks, we will be in touch with you with more information.

So for now, save the date, and hope to see you there!

As seen and heard in Velo-city 2019!

If you missed the conference, worry not, we have you covered! Not only you will be able to hear from many of the Dublin Cycling Campaigners themselves on the September Public meeting, but we have also uploaded to our website many of the presentations shared by campaigners from the Dublin Cycling Campaign, Cyclist.ie, I Bike Dublin, Cycling Without Age and An Taisce Green-Schools.

There were also a series of presentations that looked at cycling through the perspective of health, media, gender, ability, poverty, ethics, and just being human. And we compiled them here!

And of course, you can also browse through all the presentations of this year's conference on the ECF website.

September Public Meeting on the Velo-city Conference

Our next public meeting will take place on Monday evening 9th of September in the Central Hotel when we will reflect on the Velo-city conference which took place in Dublin in June. What new ideas and information did we learn? What new connections with other campaigners were formed? What impact do we think Velo-city is having or will have on decision-makers and on the development of cycling in Dublin? Come along on Monday 9th of September to hear a range of views from those attending Velo-city. Details available on www.dublincycling.ie over the coming weeks.
