Rent Relief for Leaseholders

To help support clubs and not for profits, the City of Onkaparinga have announced we will be waiving lease and associated costs for community and sporting clubs using council facilities for a period of three months (between 1 April and 30 June 2020) 

If you lease a building from council and have a question about the property, please direct it to our Property Transaction Team and all governance matters can be directed to OACNET. Please use guideline for making council enquiries below.

Reminder: Community facilities are restricted from opening. This means you cannot hold any activities from your club room, they must remain closed.

Funding for Not for Profits 

Government is providing a further lifeline to small businesses during these unprecedented times.

The State Government plan is to support businesses through the challenges presented by COVID-19, and help them bounce back.

Support for businesses, jobs & the community impacted by COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its significant impact on local businesses, industry sectors and jobs, the South Australian Government has announced a second economic stimulus package – the Jobs Rescue Package, worth $650 million – that will provide immediate financial support and relief to those most affected.

Hosting you AGM

Due to COVID-19 and the restrictions now in place on public gatherings, some associations may find it difficult to comply with the legislative requirement around holding Annual General Meetings. 

Where technology can be used, associations may wish to consider holding a 'virtual' AGM (either online, or via teleconference).  Visit the Consumer and Business Affairs website to find out how you clubs can hold it AGM.

As you will be aware both the Commonwealth and State Government have announced business support packages designed to assist many businesses and organisations.
