HALO programs 

Welcome to our June newsletter. Our HALO program is designed to help our community to 'Find Your 30'. Thirty minutes per day of moderate to intense physical activity is what's recommended under Australia's Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines.

We hope our newsletter will assist you in finding ways to increase your physical activity.

OUTFIT Onkaparinga

Term 2 finishing Friday 2 July
Its not too late to try OUTFIT Onkaparinga. If you want to use outdoor fitness equipment, participate in a fitness class, or just want to get active, then OUTFIT Onkaparinga is designed for you!

Join our FREE outdoor group exercise sessions with a personal trainer, at various locations. Learn how to use outdoor fitness equipment safely and effectively, join in a group fitness class and develop a workout routine you can use more regularly.

All sessions provide alternative exercises making them accessible to all fitness levels and suitable for adults of all ages. To book & find out more...

Noarlunga Aquatic Centre and Recreation Centres

Did you know that the Noarlunga Aquatic Centre is now under the management of the City of Onkaparinga? The pool provides casual swimming, learn to swim school and aqua classes, and there's also fitness classes and a gym.

We also have the Aldinga, Seaford and the Hub Recreation Centres which all have a fully equipped health club. Find out more... 

Free Youth Fesitval

Regen 2021 is South Australia's biggest FREE Youth Fesitval on Saturday 5 June at Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

Markets, food, amusements, music, plus loads of activities and performances. Register for Sk8/Scooter/BMX competitions with awesome prizes. For further information...

Heart Foundation Walking - Bring a bloke promotion

For the month of June, any male who joins a Heart Foundation Walking group or signs up for a Heart Foundation Personal Walking Plan, will go into the draw to win 1 of 6 $1000 Bunnings vouchers.

parkrun 

Congratulations to Shiraz Trail who celebrated their 2nd Birthday on 1 May and to Moana parkrun who celebrated their 3rd Birthday on 17 April.

parkrun is a FREE weekly 5km timed walk, jog or run held every Saturday at 8am. It is run by volunteers and is open to everyone of all abilities. Join in the fun!. Find out more...

Sports Vouchers

Did you know that your child could be entitled to a discount on their sport registration fees?

The Sports Vouchers program provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 7 to receive up to a $100 discount on sports or dance membership/registration fees and learn to swim programs ..  Find out more...
