<<Salutation>>

Dear Friends, Thank you so much for praying.  Here’s an update on how things are going for Dan.  We walked out of ICU to go home two days after we arrived.

Dan is working on recovering his speech abilities.  He is doing well and speaks slowly.  He does tire after mental energy like reading and focus.  He is also improving the dexterity of his right hand.

The neurologist said we should not make plans to leave for Nigeria yet.  Dan has a heart monitor on for the next 30 days and they sent blood off for genetic testing.  The doctors are unable to determine what caused the blood clot that caused the stroke and would like to set up a treatment plan before we go back to Nigeria.

We are at our place in Pine River working on a few things to prepare for the next months of ministry.

We appreciate your prayers and the many texts, e-mails, and messages.  Thank you!  We are so thankful for the people God has given us in our lives.  Thank you and please keep praying.

Please pray:

That the Doctors will find out what caused the blood clot and a treatment plan to prevent it from happening again.

For our staff in Nigeria as they carry on for a while longer without us.

For healing for Dan.

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts for us during this time.

In His Service,

Dan & Tina Gibbs
