We pray this Christmas season finds you healthy and enjoying God’s blessings even though things are not as we would have pictured for Christmas 2020!
Our passports have been in Nigeria for over a month now and we found out last night that our 2-year green work permit cards have been completed! Our contact in immigration is going to try and get then sent out before Christmas. So, we should be able to have them in hand and be heading back mid-January!!! Our prayer is that we would be there in God’s timing and that we do what He wants us to be doing while we are here in the United States still.
We were able to participate in a training at Converge’s Arlington Heights Office this month with the rest of the Africa Initiative leaders and had a great time learning goal-setting, short and long-term processes that will help us so much! They have already helped us define our goals and put benchmarks in to help us know how we are doing in reaching them.
Dan is doing well after his ablation he has not experienced an episode of A-fib since. Tina is also doing well, she recently had a couple of Ultrasound appointments and the blood clots diminishing well. She is still wearing compression socks for now. We are very thankful we were in the States for this as well.
The container that we sent our “luggage” packages on has arrived in Nigeria and is going though clearing.
We are looking for someone(s) that can join us in Nigeria. There are many areas that you could serve. We are currently focusing on finding someone that can help start and develop a disciple making ministry.
January 1, 2021 we will still be about $500.00 short per month because of dear partners aging as well as churches having to cut support due to COVID-19 and how it has affected churches. Please pray with us about meeting this need. If you would like more information on how you can be a part of our financial support team please let us know. We are so thankful for your prayer as well as financial partnership in changing lives in Nigeria!

We have had a recent connection with a Nigerian who ships a container every month and we are shipping some of our luggage on that to save funds for getting things over there that we would typically take in our luggage as we usually have 12 or more bags.
Things are moving forward in Nigeria and the staff is doing a wonderful job of keeping things moving forward. We are so proud of them and anxious to join them!
