Giving Tuesday opportunity Memo
Hello Friends!
We pray this note finds you preparing for a time with family and friends during this Thanksgiving season in the United States.
We want to offer you an opportunity to join us in providing some food and possibly medical assistance to some very hurting families in Gembu.
The inflation rate in Nigeria has gone up 21% in just the last month! People that were having a hard time feeding their families are just plain not able to. Our Bible Study group and leadership team decided that we wanted to bless some of the many hurting families in our area 2 weeks before Christmas. We are purchasing food items and making a card telling them why we celebrate Christmas and our hope in Jesus. Some of our Nigerian staff will bring the gifts and visit and pray with the families. We believe this is a wonderful opportunity to help during this season. We will be visiting 32 families. If we have any funds remaining after our food items, we will put that in our Mercy Fund. Our Mercy Fund is used to help supplement hospital patients' bills and is strictly money given by our staff to help those in their time of health crisis during this hard time!
