Join the discussion led by Donn J. Viviani, 35-year veteran EPA scientist and President of CPR Initiative, Dr. James E. Hansen, former Director of NASA Goddard Institute of Space Studies and current Director of Climate Science, Awareness and Solutions (CSAS), an Earth Institute program at Columbia University, and Dan Galpern, CPR Initiative General Counsel and Executive Director.

CPR Initiative's June 16, 2022 filing kicked off a 90-day statutory deadline for EPA to grant or deny our Petition. Accordingly, just 90 37 days from now (and counting) EPA must determine whether or not GHG pollution "presents an unreasonable risk of injury to health or the environment" — and, if so, to kick-off a rulemaking proceeding to limit that risk.

Getting this done right will not be easy, but it is possible, if we do it together.
