What a year 2022 has been, at home, abroad, and with respect to CPR Initiative’s own trailblazing efforts to address the climate crisis.
With your support and active engagement, we crafted and submitted our citizens’ Petition to Phase Out Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Pollution to Restore a Stable and Healthy Climate, launched a public campaign to secure widespread support, including our first-ever public-hearing on climate solutions, and then filed a citizens’ suit in federal court to compel the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to take bolder action to address climate change – CPR Initiative’s Legal Battle to Save the Planet.
As we look forward to 2023, we need to work together to build greater public pressure even as we prosecute our Citizen’s Lawsuit to its conclusion.
