Welcome to Day 14 of the Sleekgeek 14-Day New Year Kickstart Challenge!

A quick recap from yesterday:
  • Eric showed you how to survive the weekend and manage weekend overeating.

  • Elan explained the difference between being in "motion" versus taking "action". The one keeps you busy while the other moves you forward towards success.
Now, let's dive into today's lessons and tasks!
NUTRITION Lesson + Task:

In the video below, Eric explains how to keep yourself motivated and accountable going forwards even when he and Elan are no longer around.

TASK:

No task today other than to keep taking action every day using the tips and strategies that you have been given over the past 14 days.

With this 14-day challenge coming to an end, you may be tempted to say “Oh no, Eric and Elan are no longer here in a daily video to hold my hand” and then give up.

Sure, you could do that. They aren’t going always be there.

But, the consequences of giving up will always be there.

And it’s up to you to decide whether the debate is more important than the consequences.

P.S. All of Eric's Nutrition Tips have been compiled into this free Sleekgeek Nutrition Guide for easy reference in the future.

Let us know in the Sleekgeek Facebook Group what you thought about this 14-day challenge overall. We would love to hear your feedback to find out what we did right and where we could improve for next time! (Use the hashtag #SGNY so that your posts are easily searchable by us and your fellow challengers.)

We will be giving away several entries into the upcoming Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge to the most active and enthusiastic Kickstart Challengers as the challenge goes along.
MINDSET Lesson + Task

In the video below, Elan talks about how you can't sit around and wait for someone to come and save you. You have to save yourself, you have to be your own hero in this life.

LESSON:

TASK:

Write a mantra that you can recite daily reminding yourself that you are the hero of your own story.

For example Elan wrote this for himself:

“I give myself permission to do something extraordinary on earth”

Write down a simple sentence that speaks to you personally. The sentence needs to be a statement – something that can’t be questioned.

Watch the video or read the transcript for more ideas.

Let us know in the Sleekgeek Facebook Group what mantra you've chosen or how you plan to be your own hero going forwards (use the hashtag #SGNY so that your posts are easily searchable by us and your fellow challengers).

We will be giving away several entries into the upcoming Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge to the most active and enthusiastic Kickstart Challengers as the challenge goes along.
That's it, the end! Thanks for taking part :)
