Welcome to the Sleekgeek 14-Day New Year Kickstart Challenge!

Every day, for the next 14 days you will receive an email from us containing do-able and effective actions on how to take control of your nutrition once and for all.

Each day we will explain everything that you need to know in an easy to understand manner with clear action steps on what you need to do to complete that day’s task.

Let's get started!

Below is a quick welcome video from Eric giving you a brief overview of how it all works.

Please excuse the brief mention of "2018", we are indeed in 2019! :)

Day 1 NUTRITION Lesson + Task:

In the video below, Eric will walk you through the Sleekgeek Food List, showing you how it can be used as a quick snapshot or frame of reference for what a healthy diet might look like.

TASK:

Print out the Sleekgeek Food List and highlight which of those foods you actually like and will eat.

Just focus on what works for you, the rest can come later. No pressure.

If you already have many of these foods at home, great! Try to include more of them and less of others in your meals today.

And then the next time that you go shopping, try to buy more of these foods on the list and less of others that aren’t. Check out this Sleekgeek Shopping List and Supermarket Survival Guide if you need a bit of help.

Just to be clear, I’m not asking you to cut everything yummy out of your diet, I’m just asking you to try and move a little bit more in the right direction. Even if it’s only 1% better than usual, do that consistently every day and it will add up to enormous results, I promise.

Let us know in the Sleekgeek Facebook Group which foods you highlighted (use the hashtag #SGNY so that your posts are easily searchable by us and your fellow challengers).

We will be giving away several entries into the upcoming Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge to the most active and enthusiastic Kickstart Challengers at the end of the 14-day challenge!
Day 1 MINDSET Lesson + Task

In the video below, Elan will walk you through the concept that change is a skill, helping you shift all of your perceptions about getting healthy and show you that, no matter who you are, change is absolutely possible in your life.

TASK:

Take a 5-minute action each day for the next 14 days.

No matter what happens you are going to do that 5-min action every single day. No exceptions.

So make it super simple... Simple, doable and repeatable. Choose “low-hanging fruit”. Small. Simple. Do-able. Guaranteed to succeed. Don’t start a big project or get over-ambitious. Don’t over-think it.

You should be 100% confident that you can do each day’s task. It doesn’t matter what it is. All that matters is that you do it. That is the assignment.

Either way, this will help you practice changing something daily.

Stuck for ideas? Here are some suggestions to jog your mind.
  • Go for a 5 min walk during the day
  • Make ONE very small nutritional improvement (whatever feels do-able, easy, and fun today). For example drinking a glass of water when you wake up.
  • Practice something you want to improve (such as cooking).
  • Close your eyes and breathe for 5 mins.
  • Take a multivitamin.
  • Get 5 minutes of fresh air and sunlight during the day.
The possibilities are endless!

Let us know in the Sleekgeek Facebook Group what 5-minute action you chose to do (use the hashtag #SGNY so that your posts are easily searchable by us and your fellow challengers).

We will be giving away several entries into the upcoming Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge to the most active and enthusiastic Kickstart Challengers as the challenge goes along.
That's all for now, see you tomorrow!

Team Sleekgeek.
