Welcome to Day 13 of the Sleekgeek 14-Day New Year Kickstart Challenge!

A quick recap from yesterday:
  • Eric showed you how to confidently eat out at most restaurants without "falling off the wagon". You shouldn’t need to abandon your diet or be that weirdo with your Tupperware under the table in order to go out to eat.

  • Elan explained that failure is part of the journey and showed you how to quickly get right back on track to create the consistency you need to succeed.
Now, let's dive into today's lessons and tasks!
NUTRITION Lesson + Task:

In the video below, Eric shows you how to survive the weekend and manage weekend overeating.

TASK:

Take serious stock of your weekend behaviour.

Do you recognise any symptoms of weekenditis? Do any of these causes strike a nerve?

Even if you are pretty good on the weekend, try to identify at least one of these solutions that you can implement and work on in your life going forward.

And because we know how weekend are… we suggest that you actually set a weekly reminder on your phone to automatically go off each weekend with a small reminder or cue on what you should be focusing on to win the weekend.

Let us know in the Sleekgeek Facebook Group if you identified any symptoms of weekenditis in your life and what action you plan to take to address it (Use the hashtag #SGNY so that your posts are easily searchable by us and your fellow challengers).

We will be giving away several entries into the upcoming Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge to the most active and enthusiastic Kickstart Challengers as the challenge goes along.
MINDSET Lesson + Task

In the video below, Elan explains the difference between being in "motion" versus taking "action. The one keeps you busy while the other moves you forward towards success.

TASK:

Identify an area in your life where you are in motion right now.

Write down the next action that you need to take

Keep doing that until you have taken the action you need to produce the results that you want.

Let us know in the Sleekgeek Facebook Group what you've identified as "motion" in your life and how you plan to take "action" instead (use the hashtag #SGNY so that your posts are easily searchable by us and your fellow challengers).

We will be giving away several entries into the upcoming Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge to the most active and enthusiastic Kickstart Challengers as the challenge goes along.
That's all for now, see you tomorrow!
