Just over a week ago we announced our
updated Canadian & US shipping rates.
new Canada/US rates)
Our international rates have also remained unchanged for two years.
Since then, some costs have of course gone up, and we've learned how much it costs to ship to various places around the world.
See our new international rate table below.
NEW INTERNATIONAL RATES
Effective June 14
Because international shipping fees vary so much from country to country, we can't make an accurate rate schedule; instead we charge actual shipping costs on international orders.
Here's the news:
- BIGGER ORDERS, LOWER RATES.
Much as we'd love to give free shipping all around, our modest size and the reality of shipping costs make this impossible. But as your order gets larger, we can afford to give you a break on shipping and handling.
- A LOW HANDLING CHARGE
We're committed to keeping our rates as affordable as we can, but we've discovered it's necessary to add a small handling fee to smaller orders. This fee will be $10 or less.
- MORE BREAKS.
We've added more price break points - $100, $200, $300 and $500. At each point, your handling charge drops - and actually disappears at $200.
- LARGE ORDERS - GET PART OF YOUR SHIPPING COSTS BACK
On orders over $300, we'll send you a gift certificate for 1/3 or 2/3 of your shipping costs. You can use this certificate on any future order.
ENJOY 5 DAYS
OF REDUCED SHIPPING
'TIL MIDNIGHT JUNE 13!
- Our new rates will kick in June 14
- Until then, all international orders will receive a gift certificate worth HALF their shipping costs, up to $25!
- To take advantage of five days of reduced shipping, go to our website.
NEW SHIPPING RATES
EFFECTIVE JUNE 14 2014
*NOTE: a small number of our heavy and unusual items are exempt from the reduced shipping rates: baskets, very large quantities of rope and twine, and sheepskins for example. These are a tiny fraction of our many products and for those, we'll always calculate actual shipping rates.
