The Still Eagle

We'll pay you to NOT shop.
Yes, that's right...

Black Friday: That late November day when you rush to the mall (spelled MAUL this weekend) and line up to fight a throng of other customers for sale items. Exciting for some, possibly unpleasant, and occasionally dangerous. News reports on the following Tuesday usually feature deaths, riots or injuries during the shopping spree.

We suspect many of our customers would prefer to skip that scene and perhaps do their shopping in a more stress-free environment: their homes.

Or, they might want to do nothing – which would be highly appropriate:

Friday Nov 28, or BLACK FRIDAY,

Twenty-two years ago, Adbusters Magazine launched BUY NOTHING DAY -- an annual protest/celebration against over-consumption that encourages everyone to buy nothing on one of the biggest shopping days of the year. It’s a brave and forward-thinking attempt to reduce consumption during the very time that the “shopping season” kicks into high gear. The creative folks at Adbusters like a challenge! Read more about Adbusters and Buy Nothing Day, and see if you’re inspired to do less.
So instead of shopping
