This Lord's Day we welcome Pastor Bill Roberts to the pulpit.
Elder Training: The session has been working on preparing for an elder election. Pastor Olivetti will be teaching three classes on Saturday mornings. The classes are scheduled for 9-11am on Saturday May 8, 15, and 22. All the men of the congregation and their teenage sons are encouraged to come and learn about being a ruling elder.
Olympian Vacation Bible School: While the world cheers on the 2021 Olympians, plan to join us as we cheer for our VBS Athletes to go the distance with Joshua, the great champion of the Bible who points us to Jesus! At Olympian, our kids will be challenged to join God's Team and run the Race of Faith with wholehearted love and obedience to God. Dates for this year are June 7-11 from 8:45am-Noon. Look for Registration information soon! For more information, see Anna Allgaier or Kim Held.
Church Classes: Please see Cariann if you would be willing to serve in our Bible classes during the summer quarter. We need someone to teach the 5-7 class as well as helpers for each of the 5 classes.
Scripture Memory: We encourage everyone to participate in the Immanuel Scripture memory program! If you’d like a reminder of how the program works and links to the memory sheets for tracking your progress, the details can be found Here . Those 18 and under who successfully memorize an entire passage will receive an extra reward!
Church Cleaning: If you ever wondered how the building gets so clean for each Lord's Day, you can learn and even be a part of the process!! The Drama Troupe has been responsible for cleaning the building these last couple months, but as their season wraps up, we need your help! Starting May 14th, I (Myra) am looking for volunteers to sign up to clean for a month (that means about four cleaning times). Talk to me (firstname.lastname@example.org or 765-637-6762) within the next week or two or I will find you. Thanks for considering this opportunity to serve!
RP Witness Subscription Renewal: It’s time to renew our subscriptions to the Reformed Presbyterian Witness. Renewals are:
- $28 for print and web
- $25 for seniors, college students, and military
- $20 for first time subscribers.
- $23 for web only.
Please let Mari Doerr (email@example.com) know by mid-May if you are interested in renewing or subscribing. She has sample issues that you can look at. Please give payment to Mari. Make checks payable to Mari Doerr. She will write one check when the order is sent in.
Men's Prayer: The men of the church are welcome to join in prayer together on Fridays from 6:30-7:30am at the church.
Ladies' Prayer: Ladies, college-age and up, let’s meet to pray together on Saturday at the church from 7-8 am! If you are unable to come in person and would like to join us virtually, please use the link below.
