This week @ Immanuel:
  • The joint women's Bible study with Lafayette RPC continues Wednesday morning at 10am at the Blackwood home.
  • Youth group meets this Wednesday night, 6:30 at the RPC of Lafayette (1723 S. 9th St.).
  • Saturday morning is the first Ironmen's breakfast of the year, 7:30 at the RPC of Lafayette.
  • Next Sunday afternoon is the annual LifeChain, a prayer protest on behalf of the unborn. You can read about it here.
  • For your information, the Lamb of God church is using the building on Tuesday evenings for a college Bible study.

Please take in this overview of our small groups, starting next week. Each of these studies is scheduled to meet on Wednesdays. We have a good idea of which groups will be most convenient for different households (you might hear directly from one of the small group leaders with a specific invitation), but you are welcome to attend any group you'd like.

Encouraging Reading

As the Christian faith becomes less and less popular in our country, Rich Holdeman's encouragement from Revelation is even more precious: "Vulnerable Yet Secure."

Prayer Updates

  • Please keep praying for Bob Soldati, that God would relieve his pain, give his doctors wisdom and cause Bob to hold firmly to Jesus in faith.
  • Please pray for David B., who's in Alabama preparing for a likely surgery tomorrow on an injury in his upper leg. Pray for Sonnie, too, as she carries extra responsibilities through this time.
