This public event will celebrate the installation of more crosswalks, enhanced crosswalks, sharrow markings, in-street yield-to-pedestrian signs at crosswalks and signs to indicate that adults must be walk their bikes while on sidewalks in business district areas. City Traffic Safety Manager Chris Zull said this non-motorized neighborhood trial project is the first of its type for the City. Go East Hills!

Free Neighborhood activist training

Join your local neighborhood associations for an evening learning about neighborhood city services, crime prevention tools, and how to organize block clubs or block parties. neighborhood cleanup dumpster day

The East Hills Council of Neighbors will be hosting our Annual Dumpster Day on Saturday, June 4th from 8:00am – 12:00pm for residents of East Hills. Residents can participate by bringing your trash, except for what's not being collected, to the site in the parking lot at Congress School, 940 Baldwin SE. Please contact for more information.

Eat.Shop.Rock: Thursdays in Uptown all June starting June 2 at 6pm in front of ICCF, 920 Cherry SE. Join in on the family-friendly fun with free music provided by Boot Strap Boys and Valentiger. Brewery VIvant beer is available for purchase at the Richard App Gallery. 
East Hills Non-Motorized Unveiling: Join us Friday, June 3rd at 3pm for the public unveiling of our Non-Motorized strategies that help make our neighborhood more pedestrian and bicycle friendly.

Cherry Park Splash Plaza Opens: We are hoping no later than June 10th!  
Cherry Park Summer Events: The third Wednesday of the month starting June 15th starting at 6pm. More information coming soon! These events are family-friendly, free music, bring a picnic and BYOB with valid ID.
