SeaChange has new owners!

Walcan Seafood Ltd. is proud to announce the acquisition of SeaChange Seafoods. Walcan will operate the SeaChange brand from its location on Quadra Island on the coast of British Columbia. 

Who is Walcan Seafood?
Walcan has been making most SeaChange products for the past 30 years. We are the folks behind SeaChange, sourcing the wild salmon and preparing the delicious foods you trust SeaChange to provide. Walcan is a family owned Canadian company in business since 1974. We have long-standing solid relationships with a fleet of fishers, and a wealth of experience in fish handling and product development. We are proud to include the SeaChange brand in our product offerings – and plan to bring you some exciting new developments going forward! 

Introductions are in order
Cam Pirie (photo left) is Walcan’s GM and second generation owner. Anne Millerd (centre) former owner of SeaChange, has joined our team to ensure continuity of customer care. Walcan's Smokemaster Chris Carmen (right) is already working with Anne to serve SeaChange customers in 2017.

How will things work now?
Walcan will continue to operate the SeaChange brand as a separate line, so you can still get the same great products as before.  Phone numbers remain unchanged. Just pick up the phone or send us an email, the same as you have in the past. 

What will change?
New Payment information will be provided in advance of your next order. Orders now ship twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
